A rainstorm interfered with pky. Capp, on the local side, was not out with 114 runs to his credit. The Englishmen lost five wickets for 221. Hayward 66, Jessop 48, and Quaife not out 55, were the principal scorers. . SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, 30£h November. The Inter-State match South Australia v. New South Wales commenced today. The home team went to the wickets and lost three wickets for 219 runs. Trumper scored 21 ; Kelly, 77 5 Iredale, 46 ; Noble, not out, 47 ; Gregory, not out, 20.
