It provides for a minimum wage in a modest form — no on© employed in a factory is to receive less than half-a-crown a week. The Bill prevents the giving or taking of a bonus for employing a female as apprentice or improver, and also gives attention to the extinguishing of fires in factories, and the means of escape in case of fire in factories and hotels.
