After parade, sports were held, and there was good competition for events. Corporal Tilson's team won the best-equipped section and section jumping, Trooper Cadwallader won the rescue race, and Trooper King the led horses. At the invitation of Lieutenant Skeny, the corps was entertained •at dinner and a smoke concert. Another field day and picnic will be held by the corps at Belvedere on sth December, and later on Lieutenant Jury has invited the members of the corps, and also the native corps, to a sports gathering and banquet at KonataW. The Borough Council accepted the proposal of Mr. Toms, of Palmerston, to light Greytown by acetylene gas. MASTERTON, This Day.
