ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[nr TEMjaiuPit— rimas assoojJation.l AUCKLAND, 11th September. Tho body of James Lumber/,, lato of-^ Woodville, has been found in Mechanics' Bay. Deceased had been despondent, i and suffarod from insomnia. At an inquest held at Maryborough i on the remains of James Mwcready, who died at Mr. J. O'Keefe's farm, Oturaia, a verdict was returned of death from pneumonia, brought on by influenza, and a rider was added declaring that in tho opinion of the jury tho deceasod should have had medical attendance, nnd that extreme negligence was Bhown by tho person in whose care the deceased was.
