Theso debentures are scoured on the Publio Revenues of the Colony, and aro issued ropayablo on the Ist April, 1904, at the Troaaury, Wellington, New Zealand, or (if tho tenderer so requests in his tendor) at the oflioo of tho Agent-General for New Zealand iv London. Dividends represented by coupons attached to the debentures, will bo payable on tho Ist April and tho Ist October in each yoar during the currency of the Loan, at tho Cashier's Office, Troaßury, Wei-, lington, or at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand in New Zealand, or (if tho dobonturo3 aro issued repayablo in London) at the office of the Agerit-General for Now Zealand in London. At tho option of tho holder of any dobenture issued ropayablo in New Zealand, and on application mado in that behalf at the Treasury, Wellington, New Zealand, he may at any time during its currency havo it endorsed payable, both as to principal and'"intorest, at the office of tho Agent-General- for New Zealand, London, or at any 'specified branch of the Bank of New Zealand in Australia; Provided that in the foraner case the endorsement shall be m<klo not less than three months and in the latter caso not less than one month, before the due date of the next ensuing payment of interest. Tho first interest coupon will be payable on the Ist October, 1901, and will be for a sum equal to six months' interost on tho nominal amount of the Debenture. Tho issue price will be at tho rate of £100 in money for every £100 expressed in debentures (below which no tonder will be accopted), payable as follows: — Doposit of 5 per cent on application. First instalmont of 45 per cent, on Tuesday, 7th May, 1901. Second instalment of 50 por cent, on Tuesday, 4th June, 1901. Payments may bo made in full at any timo on or after the 7th May, 1901, and> prior to the 4th June, 1901, at a discount at the rate of one pound ten shillings per centum per annum. Sealed tenders, addressed to the Seoretary to the Treasury, Government Buildings, Wellington, accompanied with the 5 per cent, deposit, will bo received up to noon of TUESDAY, 23rd April, 1901, when they will'bd bponed in tho presence of the Colonial Treasurer and the Controller and Auditor-General, and allotment will forthwith bo made. If cheques are lodged with a tender, they must be drawn upon a Bank in Wellington, and be marked by such Bank as "good" for fourteen days. Cheques issued by a Bank need not bo so marked. Tenders may bo 'for tho wholo or any part of the Loan, and must state what amount of money will be givon for every £100 of tho Debentures tendered for. Tenders must be for evon hundreds of pounds sterling, and at prices which nro multiples ot sixpence, 'lenders at difforent priceß must be on separate forms. The nominal amount of Debentures tendered for must bo written on the outside of .the Tender. In caso of default of the payment of any instalment at ils proper date, the deposit and instalmont (if any) previously paid will bo liable to forfeituro.
