The Fire Brigade competitions concluded, to-day, and most of the visitiug teams will leave for home either to-night or on Monday. • The additional results were as follows : — Disabled Hose Competition, for five men. — Captain Campbell, Firemen Necklen, Newton and Gilchrisfc, and Lieutenant Shewen (of Tiroafu), 67 3-ssec, 1 ; Foreman J. Coglan, Firemen Ji. Redwood, G. Riddell, and Saunders, and Branchman J. Riddell (of Spit), . - l-ssec, 2;H Firemen Tonkin, #± ivenzie, Murray, Salmon, and Williams (of Dunedin City). 70 3-ssec, 3. Hose and Hydrant Competition, for three men. — Foreman Ballinger, Firemen Ford and Parker (of New Plymouth), 32 2-ssec, 1 ; Firemen Alexander, Billings, and Mem (of Thames.), and Foreman W. Woodley, Branchman A. Peterson and Fireman H. 'book (of Invercargill), 34 3-s.«ec, eqnal. The two teams ran off for second place, and Invercargill won, tlte time being 44 l-ssec. Thames did not finish. A protest entered by Invercargill against New Plymouth that a fireman had screwed a joint after water was struck wrts dismissed. Bicycle Hose and Hydrant Competition, for two men. — Firemen W. Jyri's and Carr (of Christchurch City), 90 2-s«ec, 1 ; Captain Wallis and Fireman A.. Donaldson (of Gore), lOOsec, 2.
