fllY TEI/TCGRAVn — PRESS ASSOCIATION.! CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The cricket match Wellington v. Canterbury was commenced at Lancaster Park at 1.40 to-day. The weather was dull and threatening, and a cold wind was blowing from the cast. Barry, the local captain, won the toss, and the wicket being fast sent his opponents into the field. Sims and Wigley faced the bowling of Tucker and Upham. At 2 p.m. 14 runs had been scored without the loss of a wicket.
