Wheat- — Tho markets are dull, with a downward tendency. New South Wales, January-February shipments, 30s 3d por quarter; Victorian, . 3os 6d; sailer parcels, 29s 3d. Sugar is dull. THE PRICES OF METALS. Copper.— Quotations aro nominal. Spot, 20s lower, at .£7l 7s 6d per ton; three months', 17s 6d lower, at £TZ is 6dper ton. Tin is steady. Spot, 30s higher, at -8120 10s por ton ; three months', 10s higher, at .£ll9 10s per ton. Pig-irou— Glasgow warrants, 3a 8d lower, at 52s 9d per ton f.o.b. in Clyde. . Lead, 5s lower, at .£l6 2s' Gd per ton. Bar silver is quoted at 2s 5 1-lGd por oz. YESTERDAY'S WOOL AND SKIN SALES. Messrs. Levin and Co., Limited, report oh yesterday's sales as follows: — We offered 20 bales wool and 1200 skins. Prices, Whilst firm, showed no advance on provioiis sale, as the coarse crossbreds of this district have, so far, shown no improvement in the London sales now current. For skins we quote — Good halfbreds, 4-£ d to 4|d pfer lb; go»d crossbreds, 33d to 4£d ; medium, do, 3£d to 3£d ; dead skins, 2d to 3d ; lambs, 3d to 3id. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. report: — Wo offered 2200 sheepskins and a quantity of bag wool. Fine-woollel skins showed a slight advance from last sale, j while coarse and inferior pelted remained unchanged. We quote as follows : Skins — Merinos and fine crossbreds, 4£d to 4|d per lb; coarse erossbreds, 3|d to 4^d; dead and hoggets, 2|d to 3£d ; inferior a"nd i broken, 2d to 2£d; dry pelts (sound), 6d to 7d each Bag wool— Fleece, 3£d to 4£d; dead, 3d to 3|d ; locks and pieces, Id to 3d. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report:— We cleared a catalogue of about 800 skins and a quantity of bag wool at prices equal to those ruling at previous sale. We quote — Sheepskins, good, full-woollod crossbred, 4cl to 4Jd ; 2£d to 3£d for dead skins and hoggets ; broken skins and half-woollod do, 3d to 3ijd. Wool in bags— Fleece, 3|d to 4Jkl ; dead, 3d to 3|d; locks and pieces, Id to 3d per lb.
