[BT TELEGEAPn. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] j ' NELSON, 12th November. Mr. Frank Denby, station master at Belgrove, avos found drowned in a ditch near his residence. Ho Avas about 30 years of age. Deceased, Avho had been in poor health for same time, leaves a Aridow, but no children. DUNEDIN, 12th November. The adjourned inquest touching the death of Kin Hay,,a victim of the Roslyn tram accident, web resumed to-day, "but at the request of the Crown Prosecutor, Avas adjourned to alloAv the Public Works Department to complete an inspection of the dine. In reply to a juryman, Mr. Duncan said the matter of pulling up the car going at full speed conld be Rested. The company Avould test every car in any Aray desired, but it did not want opinions. It had in one case been ordered to put on brakes which cost £600. These had to be taken off again aftenvards, as tliey were absolutely useless.
