LIEUT.-GEN. BADEN-POWELL ILL. LONDON, 12th November. Major : General Baden-Powell is suffering from enteric fever. The prisoners captured at the Bothaville engagement included twenty-eight artillerists and forty rebels. A meeting attended by 800 women at Paarl, in Cape Colony, passed resolutions protesting agafest the barbarities of the English in deporting women from Orange River Colony and the Transvaal, and burning farms. Several Australian troopers, in letters to English newspapers, complain of being sent Home in the steerage of the steamers.
