An inter-club match was played in Masterton on Prince of Wales's Birthday between teams from the Masterton and Wellington Lawn Tennis Clubs. Wellington's representatives defeated their opponents by 100 points. Totals— Wellington 771; jMasterton, 671. The final for the Combined Doubles of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Cub, played off last week, resulted in a win for F. Williams and Miss Barber (handicap 25), 52, who beat. H.. Brown and Miss Hannay (handicap 17), 50. Miss M. C. Rjpss and Mr. J. C.
