The Palmerstpn North Club *as sent down three rinks to try conclusions with the local clubs to-morrow, pjaying Thorndon at 9 o'clock, Wellingtoai at 12.^0, and Newtown'at 3.30. The visitors ore playing the Victoria Club to-day. The tollpwing are tho teams picked for the Wellington O.ub:— Allen, G. P. Wilson, Bush, Lockie (skip) ; Berry, Bell, Mentiplay, Ballinger (skip) ; Biunskill, Gibbs, Churchward, Sample (3kip). ' Owing to the continuous wet weathei and the consequent few opportunities for play since the opening of the season, the Match Comanittee of the Wellington CIul) has decided to leave entries open far club matches till Saturday. The following skips have been chosen by the club to form their own rinks for the Pennant Match against Newtown on Saturday, 17th inst. :— Ballinger, Sample, M'GUxskan, Lockie. A bwke will leave Wordsworth-street for the Victoria green at 2 o'clock. On Saturday the annual match President v. Vice-President will be played by the Wellington Club. Members are requested to roll up by 2.15 sharp. The fallowing will play for the Thorn-
don Club against Palmerston. to-morrow • — Longton, W. Nathan, Flanagan, Rose, Webb, Kilgour, Ross, Bamy, Archibald, Jameson, Hiekson., M'Kerrow.
