BOWLING.
SATURDAY'S MATCHES. Bowls were played under difficulties in the high ; wind which raged on Saturday afternoon. Still, they were played, and much fun was derived from the erratic movements frequently described by a well-, delivered bowl being caught by the wind and led astray. The Match Committee -has decided ihat the second round of thY Sealed Handicap must be finished next Saturday. Next Saturday the Petone Club plays the Newtown Club, the present holders, for the Edw^n Feathers.
