The Premier has arranged to leave for Ohristchurch on Wednesday, for the purpose of meeting the Governor when his Excellency returns from the South Seas. Mr. Seddon Avill also take p,a>rt in the opening of the. Exhibition. It is probable that he will visit Otago; before returning to Wellington. Amongst various Parliamentary votes of which the Cabinet to-day ordered the expenditure, are £2800 for the Makohinc viaduct, and similar amount for the northern end of the £(orthj Island Main Trunk raihvay.
