In the Magistrate's Court this morning, tefore Mr. W. R. Haselden, S.M., one first-ofience drunkard was dealt with. Philip Shond, who had strayed from the Ohiro Home, was charged with having no visible means of support. Mr. A. Purvis, Master of the Home, said that Shivnd has refused to go back to the institute as he was sick of it. He gave the accused a very good character m to his conduct while at tho Home. Accused was discharged on undertaking to go back to the Home. A charge against Richard Harris of having assaulted John Anderson and" robbed him of £14 Bs, was dismissed.
