No return has been announced from the Qrey River dredge this week. It is uuderstood that the' dredge will be taken over the bar on which it is now working, and putwhere the small dredge Hapuka formerly prospected, on: the strength of which;;the company Was formed. The Buller dredge go 16oz 16dwt for 130 hours' working. This is a great improvement on past returns. The Consolidated dredge got Boz for 115. hours. The Reefton returns a*re as follows: — Kirwan's Reward, 1230z from 114 tons (top plates only). Keep.it-.Dark returns for October are: — Battery, 2050z gold from 955 tons: Cyanide, 188oz. DI7NEDIN, 28th October. The available week's dredging returns are as follows : — Electric, 2540z ; Junction Electric, 2040z 14dwt».
