DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM
-♦ — - A sudden death occurred in Taranakistreet shortly after noon to-day. Drs. CahiH and Martin had been called in to remove an abscess from Mrs. Rebecca Lambardt and were in the act of administering chloroform in order to enable the operation to bo performed, when the patient expired. The medical men, before giving the chloroform, • had applied the usual test, and were .satisfied that (be woman's heart was not affected. An inquest is to be held at the Foresters' Anns Hotel at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.
