A Chinese merchant of repute has given to the Shanghai correspondent of the Daily Express circumstantial and revolting details of the massacre at Pekin, of which he declares he was an eye-wit-ness. < The European women were, he states, stripped of their clothing in the streets and hacked to pieces by the JJoxers. After they were dead their bodies were dismembered. The bodies of the murdered children were carried by the soldiers upon their spearheads, and were shot at by other soldiers.
