Slowly decreasing pressure everywhere, and thare have been heavy easterly gales at most places north of East Cape, Taupo, and Rasjlau, but moderate to strong winds, principally from tho northward, in most other parts of the country. Eain has fallen heavily north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, and from thence south to Kaikoura it lms beun light but steiidy.
