An English paper, referring to the Stanley Show in LoncLn, says: — "A noteworthy characteristic of many of the exhibits is a very considerable reduction in the price oi cycles,. Machines that used to be "listed" at £25 have entirely disappeared, and there are at least four firms exhibiting machines — not for children, for theirs are almost invariably low in price, but of full size — ajb seven guineas ; seven that build machines for from six to seven pounds, ,and two that actually have five-guinea cycles for sale." Spring frames seem to Oe making another desperate attempt to secure adoption ' during the coming season. With these the difficulties have utherto been that the spring attachments prevented the saddle, the handles, and the pedals, from remaining constantly in tbeir respective positions. This difficulty has now been overcome in several ir.gu.jous ways.
