His last season iv New South Wales nlectorate matches brought Trumper on aggregate of 1583 runs for fourteen innings, and ho was four times not out. And vet ho wns chosen as the fourteenth nuui'm tho Australian team, for which he has been doing ho well 1 He has now edipsed all tho efforts of the other members of tho team both in his individual nnd his aggregate scores, having made 1285 runs in 61 innings. Noble bus gono back into socond place in totals with. 1237, and Darling hus 1086. Trumpor also has the honour of having notched tho highest individual score recorded by &v Australian in England, the previous best being Murdoch'H liß6 not out (sooied on tho Brighton ground also) during tho tour of Murdoch's second team. No English players have toppod these scores in matches against Australians.
