MR. JELLICOE'S SUSPENSION.
HIS APPEAL TO THE PRIVY COUNCIL. (PBBS9 ASSOCIATION.] London. 30th July. The Judicial Committee of tho Privy Council has grunted leave to appeal in the New Zealand case, \E. G. Jelliuoe aud tho Wellington District Law Society. [The case referred to was before the Court of Appeal in Wellington on the 28rd flay last, when, on tho motion of the Welington Law Society, Mr, Jellicoe was, after argument, suspended from practice for three months, and ordered to pay £15 15s costs incurred by tho Society in making the application. The application was bused on tha ground of^ professional misconduct on the part of Mr. Jellicoe in attributing bias to Mr. Justice Edwards, alleging that it would be unfair for him to try au action brought by Julia Sleinmnnu against her former employer, the Count do Courte. When tho Court of Appeal gave its decision Mr. .ldlicoe asked for and obtained leave to appeal to tho Privy Council, but his request that judgment be stayed pending tho appeal wag refused.]
