BOWLING. THE PENNANT MATCHES.
The third round of the Pennant matches will be played on the Victoria and Newtown greens on .Saturday afternoon. The arrange* ment is that Welliugton shall play Victoria on the Newtown green, and Thorndon , will meet Newtown on the Victoria grasn. The teams are as follows : — Newtown. — Price, Gibbes, Bell, Prince (skip) ; Brightwell, M'Eldowney, Webb, Underwood (skip) ; Glass, Morris, Nancarrow, Astill (akip) ; Blythe, Brogan, Telford, Bary (skip). ' Thorndon.— G. Wright, Collins, Macintosh, Flanagan (skip) ; Archibald, Elliott, Mowbray, Webb (skip) ; Longton, Jameson, Rose, M'Kerrow (skip) ; Parsons, King, Young, Ross (skip) ; emergencies, Burns, Seaton. Victoria. — Hnett, Gooder, Scott, Page (skip) ; Dixon, White, Ilueston, Braokrenridge (skip) ; Mack, Reed, Snaddon, Redstone (skip) ; Macmorran, Scliultz, Rowe, Allan (skip) ; emergencies, Hamerton, Raggett, Willis.
