4 RITUALISM IN ENGLAND. ♦ THE ARCHBISHOP'S COURT. [PItKSS ASSOCIATION.] (Received February 7, 9.35 a.m.) London, 6tli February. In connection with the steps recently decided upon by the authorities in the Church of England for keeping ritualism within duo bounds, it was recently arranged that whenever a Bishop has doubts as to the interpretation of the rubrics, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York shall jointly give a decision upon the point at issue. In further pursuance of this arrangement the Archbishop of Canterbury will hold a public court on 14th inst. to hear any ritualistic clergymen who may desire to appear.
