Henri Rocfiefort, the noted journalist and anti-Dreyfusite, who was the subject of a demonstration when embarking at Marseilles, received a great welcome on his arrival at Algiers. (Received February 7, 9.45 a.m.) Paeis, 6th February. Owing to disturbances in the City of Algiers the Governor has prohibited political meetings. The Mayor of the municipality has been suspended.
