h The annual meeting of the Wellington Volunteer Rifle Association was concluded at Trentham on Saturday afternoon. The light was good, but there was a strong northwest wind blowing. It will be remembered that when thft shooting concluded on Monday of latft week, Pvt. G. Howe, of the City Rifles, had a big lead. He easily maintained it to the fiuisk, winning the Champion Belt and the first prize of £5 with a score of £16. Pvt. C. Hale, of the Guards, was 16 behind, but wins the Evening Post trophy for the highest score in the Champion Match. Following are the highest aggregates and prize winners : — Aggre- Chamgate piou.
