Christchurch:, 30th January. The Canterbury College Board of Governors concluded a discussion this afternoon on the question of reducing the salaries of certain Professors. The motion was negatived. An elderly man named Hugh M'Lymont, who is weak minded, escaped from the Hospital six days ago, and was found yesterday among the rushes in a secluded spot on the foreshore, where he had evidently lain without food, exposed to the rain and sun all the time.
