THE EAST GRETA DISASTER.
» [PfiESS ASSOCIATION.J Sydney, 28th January. The enquiry into the disaster at the East Greta mine which occurred in November last — when three men named Albert Moncrieff, David Gronowi and Richard Barnes were buried in a fall of earth, their bodies not being recovered till Christmas week — has concluded for the present, as the jurymen were unable to agree, and were consequently discharged. During the hearing some veiy direct evidence was given with regard to defec tive timbering in the mine.
