In connection with the arrest of Annie and Thomas Looney on a charge of shooting with intent, it is alleged that, on Wednesday evening, Annie Looney fired three shots at Robert Fraser's boys while the latter were driving cows along the road. The incident occurred near Waituna, a country district about 19 miles from Feilding. It is alleged that Thomas Looney loaded the gun for his sister. They went to .Pahiatua yesterday, where they were arrested last evening on the charge of attempting to murder Ernest Fraser.
