MAYORALTY ELECTIONS.
* [by telegraph— press association.] Dunedin, This Day. Councillors Swan and Dennistou are the only candidates nominated for the city Mayoralty. [by telegraph — own correspondent.] Carterton, This Day. Mr. James Brown is the only candidate at present announced for the Mayoralty. WELLINGTON CITY. Mr. J. R. Blair has been re-elected Mayor of "Wellington for another term. He was unopposed. MELROSE. Mr. George Webb was the only candidate nominated for the Mayoralty of Melrose, and he was declared elected. PETONE. Mr. R. C. Kirk was yesterday nominated for another term of "office as Mayor of Petone. LOWER HTJTT. Mr. W. G. Foster was to-day returned unopposed as Mayor of Lower Hutt for the ensuing year.
