WEATHER FORECAST FOR 24 HOURS FROM 9 a.m. TO-DAY. Wind— Moderate to strong from between northeast and north and west at all jjlaces, and changiug by the west at places north of Napier and New Plymouth Bahometer— Very little movement northward of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, but further fall everywhere else Ska— lncreasing on nil western coast, and on east coast south of Napier 'I'm us— High on western coast of South Island ; good and increasing on west coast of North Island and also southward of Napier; moderate elsewhere SYNOPSIS OF I,AST 24 HOURS Pressure has continued to increase slowly at places northward of Blenheim and Nelson, but it has decreased slowly everywhere else.
