[PEESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received September 26, 9.20 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. Mr. J. B. Reid's three recently-purchased thoroughbreds were shipped to New Zealand by the Monowai. [by telegbaph. — own cobbespondent.] Feathbbston, This Day. The monthly meeting of stewards of the Wairarapa Racing Club was held at Card's Empire Hotel on Saturday. The stewards resolved to appoint Mr. Henry as handicapper for the first day at the summer meeting, and Mr. W. Armstrong for the second. At the meeting to be held on Bth October, Mr. J. W. Card is to report on the matter of rules from the Trustees for the guidance of the club, which will enable the club to expel any undesirable persons from the course. At the same meeting the stewards are to decide as to the acceptance of tenders for the new stewards' staud ; also for removal of the present buildings or otherwise, and the painting of the new tea rotunda.
