Messrs. A. G. Tame and Co.'s report on tlieii' horse sale of Saturday is as follows :—: — We had a fair entry of draught and harness horses. A ged draughts we sold at .£2l, .£l9, and .£ls 10s ; ordinary harness horses at from .£7 to £6 ; and hacks at from to 10s. The market is at present good, and harness horses, young and staunch, are enquired after. Messrs. Abrahafm & Williams, in their stock report for last week, state : —At Shannon we had a full muster of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. There was a good demand for most classes of stock. For one or two pens rather over value was expected, but with these exceptions -we effected a general clearance. At Colyton a good deal of the stock advertised did not come forward, so little business was done, though buyers were present. At Palmerston sheep "were below average numbers. Cattle mustered in good immbers, but wore mostly represented by a line of low^conditioned young cattle from the North, for some of which exceptionally good offers were made and refused. Generally the class of sheep offered was not up to last week, though in many cases sellers wanted the same money. The tone of the market was rather dull all through, and buyers seemed loth to launch out except for stock of really good merit.
