f\ ANTERBURY OOLLEGE,Chnstchurch. \j Degree of Bacholor of Science in Engineering-.— An Entrance Exhibition of .£2O per annum, tenable for two years, will bo offered for public competition in December next. Examinations will commence on Wednesday, 30th November, at Canterbury College. Candidates will be allowed to take six of tho following 1 subjects : — Latin, Greek, English, French, German or Italian, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography, Drawing and Manual Work ; Mathematics, Science, and Drawing being compulsory Except for Drawing and Manual Work, the candidates will be required to take the papers set in the foregoing subjects for tho University Junior Scholarships, and to do well enough to obtain credit for the Matriculation Examination. A schedule of marks can bo had on application. The University Fee for tho Junior Scholarship Examination is JSI Is, and the candidates' names must be entered both with the Registrar of the University, Wellington, and with the undersignod, not later than Saturday, the 22nd October.
