The concluding results of the second day sf the Egmont Spring Meeting are as follows :—: — Hawera Steeplechase, about two miles and a half.— Cloister, 1 ; Bradshaw, 2 ; Seddon, 3. All started but Alpine aud Greenstone. Cloister led all the way. A good race. Kanaka fell at the second last hurdle. Time, Gmin 42 2-ssec. Dividends, £3 2s.and £1 9s. Ladies' Bracelet, about two miles and a half.— Sir Athol, 1 ; Woodcock, 2 ; Dunsiuane, 3. All started. A good race. Time, Gmin 12 I-ssec. Dividends, £1 16s and 19s. Fourth Hack Flat, seven furlongs.— Splinter and Heart Whist, dead heat; Plying Jib, 3. Dividends— lnside, Splinter, £1 3s ; Heart Whist, £30 9s ; outside— Splinter, 14s ; Heart "Whist. £50 9s. Uhlan was scratched. Time, lmin 34 l-ssec. Final Steeplechase, two miles. — Sir Athol, 1 ; Bradshaw, 2 ; Seddon, 3. All started but Kanaka and Nor'-west. A protest against the winner for missing hurdles was not sustained. Dividends, £2 Is and £1 ! Is. Time, 4min 32sec. Melbourne, 22nd Septemher. Brazen Lad, Duke of Richmond, and Jialhstite have been scratched for the Caulfield Cup, and -Ballistite for the Melbourne <2u.p- '
