Wind— Heavy pale soon from between northwest and west and south-west at all places eastward of East Cape. Taupo, and Napier ; heavy gnle soon from between north -east and north and west, at all other places to the northward of Lyttelton and Holritika; strong northerly winds, changing to gale, from between west and south-west and south at all other places after from six to ten hours Barometer — Further fall everywhere, but rising- at all places southward of Lyttelton and Hokitika after 10 hours Ska — Very heavy on nil western coast; heavy on east coast north of East Cape and south of papier Tidhs — High on all western coast, and on east coast south of Napier ; good elsewhere SYNOPSIS V^ LAST 2t tlOllltS Northward of Blenheim aud Nelson pressure has inureased very slowly, but. it has decreased steadily everywhere else.
