SNOWDEN'S. 30, WILLIS-STREET. TO TIIF, CITIZENS AND HOUSEHOLDERS OF WELLINGTON. "VV^E, ihe undersigned dairymen of this tt city, wish to call your attention to the fact that there is a duly qualified Dairy Inspector to look after tho milk that is supplied by tho dairymen in town, and also to look after the farmers and their cattle. The Inspector has also the servioe3 of Mr. J. A. Gilruth, (iovovnment Veterinary Surgeon, whenever he requires him. We would also call your attention to a pamphlet issued by the Hon. John M'Kcnzio, Minister of Lands, which clearly explains that pasteurisation is unnecessary if the oattle ai'n healthy and strict attention in regard to cleanliness is carried out. We also maintain that Wellington is well supplied with first-class milk, as good as any other town in New Zealand, and we are still prepared to supply the public with a first-class article — pure, sweet, fresh, and with all its ei'eatn, notwithstanding recent insinuations to the contrary. We are not aware whether the public knows it or not, but every dairyman can, if he will go to the trouble, get a certificate from the City Council, which will prove that the cattlo •{hiit he draws his supply from aro healthy and that his premises aro quite clean.
