SPAIN DETERMINED TO KEEP CUBA.
A STATEMENT BY HER PREMIER. (Received July 6, 10.45 a.m.) Madrid, sth July. Don Praxedes Sagasta, Premier of Spain, in. the course of an interview said Spain would never surrender Cuba while she had 100,000 volunteers ready to die in defence of the island.
