THE EXPEDITIONS TO MANILA.
In addition to the cruiser Charleston, the monitor Monterey was despatched from San Francisco to the Philippine Islands, 1o be followed by tho monitor Monadnock. The second expedition from San Francisco to the Philippines, consisting of the .steamers China, Colon, Senator, and Zealandin, with 4000 troops, sailed on 15th June.
