♦ [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, 4th July. . W. P. Hamilton was arrested to-night on a charge of alleged misappropriation of funds of the Citizens' Life Insurance Company. At the police station he was taken seriously ill. Dr. King, who attended him, thinking Hamilton had taken something, gave him an emetio and sent him to the hospital, where the medical men further treated him. He is in a critical condition.
