WELLINGTON NAVALS.

The A and B Classes of the Wellington Navals fired at Evans Bay on Saturday. The ranges were 500 and 600 yds, ten shots at each range. There was a strong wiud blowing across the range, and the light was very uncertain. In the A Class C.P.O. Williams and Gunner Powell had each two legs in and Gunner Arnold one. C.P.O. Williams won the Messrs. Thompson aud Lewis trophy. In the B Class, Gunners Nixon, Nay lor, and Withington each had two legs in, and Pedder one. Gunner Nixon won the Brandon trophy outright.
