BOROUGH OF MASTERTON. REQUIRED, A LOAN OF .£30,000, FOR WATERWORKS AND DRAINAGE. TH^HIS Borough is generally recognised as JL one of the most progressive and prosperous inland towns in the colony. The ratepayers have authorised the borrowing of ■£DO,OOO for tho purpose of constructing Water and Drainage Works, ut a special rate of Is Id in the .£1 on the ratable value of all property within a special area, which ratable value (rental value) is now approximately .£24,18G, and will probably increase annually. This special rate -will produce approximately .81309 per annum, and this rate and the works aro offered as security for such loan. Tenders aro hereby called for the whole or part of tho Loan, such tenders to state rate of interest required by tender. Term of Loan, 30 years ; interest payable half-yearly.
