THE CAPE VERDE SQUADRON.
PARTICULARS of THE COMPONENT VESSELS. (Received May 2, 9.40 a.m.) Madbid, Ist May. The Spanish Cape Verde Squadron, which was reported to have sailed southward, comprised the armoured cruisers Infanta Maria Teresa (7000 tons), Ahnirante Oquendo (7000 tons), Viscaya (7000 tons), and Cristobal Colon (6840 tons), and the destroyers Pluton (400 tons), Terror (380 tons), and Furor (380 tons).
