WAIRARAPA NEWS.
[by telegraph— own correspondent.] Carterton, This Day. Considerable interest was shown in the Autumn Show of the Wairarapa Horticultural Society, held on Saturday afternoon in the Agricultural Hall. There was a very large attendance of people from all parts of the Wairarapa, and the show proved a pronounced success. There was a grand display of chrysanthemums, Messrs. H. S. Izard and T. Kempton, of Greytown, securing the greater portion of the prizes. The takings for the day, including entry fees, amounted to about £40.
