AGITATION BY THE CARLISTS. ANSWERING EFFORTS ON THE ROYALIST SIDE. (Received April 30, 9 a.m.) Madrid, 29th April. The Spanish neAvspapers report that the American ironclads have been obliged to withdraAv from Cuba. The Cardinals in Madrid are endeavouring to convince the populace that the QueenRegent shared in the popular enthusiasm for Avar. There is agitation amongst the Carlists in Spain. Washington, 29th April. The Spaniards in Mexico have offered to send provisions to the Spanish forces in Cuba. J The Spanish Transatlantic Company has offered to convey mails to and from Cuba, running the blockade. THE INACTIVITY OF THE GOVERNMENT. DENUNCIATION BY THE CARLISTS. (Received April 30, 10.40 a.m.) Madrid, 29th April. A section of the Carlists and Republicans in Spain are furious at the inactivity of the Government, and denounces the Ministry.
