« DIVIDEND OF 10 PER CENT. [PRESS ASSOCIATION,] (Received April 30, 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. At the half-yearly meeting of the Colonial Sugar Compan3 r , the report, which Avas adopted, showed the net profits to have been £86,000. A 10 per cent, dividend has been declared. The Chairman stated that the production of sugar in Queensland, NeAV South Wales. and Fiji this year would more than suffice for the consumption of all Australasia, and later in the year a reduction of price would he made in order to check importations.
