The most successful purchaser for the travellers' samples of the firm of Messrs. Stewart* M'Donald, Glasgow, was C. Smith, the Cash Draper, Cuba-etreet, and he is now holding a travellers' sample sale. There are J3IOOO worth of samples, whioh were bought at a very large discount off English cost, and thoy are now being offered to the public at prices never before heard of Most of them are the coming season's samples, and rtre the very latest fashions, and consist of ladiea' capes, jaekuts, mantles, blouses, aprons, pinafores, corsets, showerproofs, dust cloaks, children's pinafores, bibs, dresses, men's suits, overcoats, hosiery, gloves, tnnbrellas, &c, Ac, whioh ho has decided to clear out at any price before stocktaking.
