[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Melboubne, 23rd July. The annual report of the Victorian Racing Club s"hows that the club bad a most successful year. An overdraft of over £3500 was wiped out, and there is now a credit balance of over £4000. It is proposed to establish a reserve fund to provide against wet racing days. London, 22nd July. Mr. Clibborn, Secretary *f the Australian Jockey Club, states that Gray's starting machine will be used at Newmarket during the October meeting, Chbistchttbch, 23rd July. Melinite wai scratched this afternoon for all engagements at the C.J.C. Grand National Meeting.
