OUR TOURING FOOTBALLERS.
DISSATISFACTION WITH NEXT WEEK'S PLANS. THE INTERVAL OF REST CONSIDERED INSUFFICIENT. [press association.] (Received July 23, 9.40 a.m.) . Brisbane, This Day. The manager of the New Zealand team of footballers has received a message from the New South Wales Union altering the Armidale fixture to Tuesday next instead of Wednesday, No reason is vouchsafed why the engagement could not be abandoned. It is understood that the cost of reimbursing; the Armidale Union for foregoing \he fixture would not exceed £75, which \the New South Wales Union might well nave paid in view of the heavy gates already received. ' After playing Armidale the New Zealanders have only three days' rest before engaging in the final test match with New South Wales. The chances of winning are not too good. (Received July 23, 0.30 p.m.) Brisbane. This Day. The weather is showery and threatening. The only change in the Queensland team for to-morrow's match is the substitution of Gralton for Currie. The New Zealand team will be — Back, Bayley : three-quarters, Armit, Roberts, and Smith ; five-eighths, Allen ; half-back, Humphries; wings. Mills and M'Kenzie; forwards, Murray, Harris, Calnan, Pauling, Hardcastie, Wilson, and Handcock.
