SPORTING.
[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received July 23, 10 a.m.) London. 22nd July. l*he Prince of Wales's horse Persimmon has been scratched for the Goodwood Cup. Two Hawkes Bay representatives for the Grand National Meeting, Mutiny and Penrose, came down from Hastings last night, arid go on to Riccarton by the Tarawera this afternoon. The horses are in charge of G. Hope, and are in fine condition.
The B.s. Duco will run the usual excursioa A to Day's Bay to-morrow afternoon.
